AI Assessment & Enablement
Find a useful place to start, then help your team use AI well in the work it already does. We assess the work, configure the right tools, and develop working practices people can repeat.
Assessment
Find a useful place to start.
The best starting point is usually a piece of work your team understands well: something repeated often, slowed by scattered information, or dependent on a few experienced people.
We help examine that work, identify where a change would matter, and decide what is worth building. We look at your workflows, where your data lives, the tools you already pay for, and your team’s capacity to take on something new. The result is a practical scope: the people and systems involved, the information required, the decisions that need review, and the outcomes the project should improve.
An Engagement
What we work on together, and what you have afterward
We start with a short assessment of the tools you already have, typically Google Workspace or Microsoft 365, your meeting platform, and the systems your work runs on, to find where AI capability already exists, where the gaps are, and which tasks would benefit most at the least risk.
Before anything is piloted, we agree on the guardrails. The business tiers we configure do not use your inputs to train the vendor’s models, and we confirm that setting rather than assume it. AI output is a draft a person reviews before it goes anywhere. AI features follow the permissions you already have. Then we pick a few pilots, each chosen because it solves a documented, daily friction, and measure them against clear benchmarks for about 30 days before expanding.
Your team finishes with things it can keep using: the tools configured and connected to your directory, plain-language guidance on what is and is not appropriate, a cheat sheet for each workflow, a simple tracker for time saved, and a roadmap matched to the team’s capacity. Your people operate it from there. We stay available for the next question or the next workflow, as part of the same relationship.
That is how it went for the Jerome L. Greene Foundation, a lean team stewarding sensitive information.
Where Most Organizations Start
Formalizing what’s already happening.
The most common pattern we see: a handful of staff are using free-tier AI tools on personal accounts, the organization hasn't made a formal decision, and there's a growing gap between what AI-forward employees are doing and what the organization officially supports.
Formalizing that is the starting point. It means choosing the right business AI subscriptions, configuring them correctly, connecting them to your identity infrastructure so access is managed through your directory, and helping teams understand what these tools actually do well.
What We Help With
What enablement looks like in practice.
Enterprise subscription setup
Claude for Teams or Enterprise, ChatGPT Team or Enterprise, Google Gemini for Business — each has different licensing models, admin controls, and data handling commitments. We evaluate and configure the right tier for your organization’s size, data requirements, and budget.
Identity and access integration
Enterprise AI tools should be provisioned through your identity provider like any other business application — SSO, SCIM provisioning, and access tied to your directory. Employees should access AI tools with their work credentials, and access should be revoked automatically when someone leaves.
Workflow development
We build and document AI-assisted workflows for specific team functions: drafting and editing, research, summarization, data analysis, customer communication, internal documentation. These aren’t generic prompts — they’re tested workflows designed around how your team actually works.
Training and adoption
Tool availability doesn’t produce adoption. We run practical training sessions around real work: how to give a tool the context it needs, how to review its output, and how to recognize when a person should take over.
The Models
The models we work with
We work daily with Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, and Microsoft 365 Copilot across client engagements, and our recommendation is always task-specific: it depends on the work, on the platforms your organization already runs on, and on how each vendor handles your data. For a plain-language account of how these tools work, see Understanding AI in Macktez University.
What Comes Next
A complete outcome, or a foundation
For many teams, using the business AI tools they already pay for well, with clear guidance and sensible governance, is the whole job.
Other organizations want to go further: connecting AI to the systems they run on, giving an agent a defined piece of recurring work, and governing that access properly. When that is the right next step, our MCP Tooling, Agent Governance & PAM, and Audit & Accountability services build on the same identity and access foundation enablement puts in place.
