March 3, 2026
At JumpCloud's February online conference for customers, developers, and managed service providers, we were proud to receive JumpCloud's MSP Partner of the Year Award for the Americas. The Macktez team watched the announcement together at the office.
Why the award matters
"Our partners are fundamental to the JumpCloud mission. They are on the front lines every day, delivering value and security to customers around the globe," said Antoine Jebara, co-founder and general manager of channel & alliances at JumpCloud. "As our Partner of the Year, Macktez represents the gold standard of what it means to deliver a unified, secure IT environment. Their work in 2025 has been fundamental to our shared mission of making sophisticated security simple and accessible."
"We don't chase awards and certifications," said Noah Landow, Macktez's Founder and CEO, "but receiving Partner of the Year honors from JumpCloud is extremely meaningful to our team. This award recognizes the countless hours we have spent mastering JumpCloud's unified identity, access, and device management platform, and leveraging those features for our clients' organizational security."
Michael Horst interviewed at JumpCloudLand
The online conference also featured a conversation between Chris Tate, Principal Strategist at JumpCloud, and Michael Horst, Partner and COO at Macktez. They talked about:
- The pivot at Macktez over 30 years from white glove support to managed services, driven by second-generation MSP tools like JumpCloud.
- Improved efficiency for support and users when identity, access, and device management are consolidated in one tool.
- Challenges with BYOD solved by more sophisticated device trust and containerization features.
- The importance of identity and device security for any sized organization.
- A call out to our blog for posts on a variety of technical topics.
