Cybersecurity Assessment

As the professional world relies more and more heavily on technology, the inherent risks increase as well. The threat of data breaches or ransomware attacks is real, and these disruptions can cause major damage to the financial, legal, and reputational health of your organization. When valuable work is inextricably linked to digital systems, disruption to those systems can have immediate, consequential, and lasting effects, including:

• loss of trust from your clients and customers.

Establishing policies that reduce or eliminate vulnerabilities and knowing exactly what to do if a cybersecurity event occurs can help your organization prevent disruptive events, reduce their economic impact, and recover more quickly.

Security policies need to be balanced with cost and convenience. Your organization should make decisions about what policies and procedures need to be implemented based on a variety of factors. But establishing a baseline understanding of existing policies (and lack thereof) is necessary to fully evaluate contingencies.

Our Cybersecurity Assessment is based on the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Cybersecurity Framework. It begins as a self-guided questionnaire that can be filled out by anyone at your organization with knowledge of current policies and security standards.

After you have submitted answers to this questionnaire, Macktez will review with you any gaps in knowledge and help add detail where needed. When the assessment is complete, Macktez will prepare a report on your organization’s cybersecurity readiness along with recommendations for any remediation we think is necessary or prudent.
