		Work Experience
Macktez.com New York City summer 96 to present		President established a firm to enable collaborations between designers and computer consultants to examine and solve problems lying on the boundry between systems and design; provide systems support for numerous design firms and design services for numerous technical companies
Two Twelve Associates New York City fall 95 to fall 96		Systems Manager established the role of Systems Manager; assessed needs, recommended purchases, arranged leases, and installed equipment for a design firm of more than 20 people focusing on environmental, print, and interactive design; hired and trained a staff member to replace me Construction Manager determined the working and storage needs of each of the 3 groups and developed a modular system of commercially-available and custom-built furniture to both meet existing needs and to allow future re-configuration; coordinated contractors, furniture orders and deliveries, and relocation of staff; designed and installed a new telephone and data network infrastructure Project Manager worked with Tad Turner, director of the New Media group at National Video, and David Peters, leader of the Interactive group at Two Twelve, to develop a detailed and realistic project plan for the development of a software project
MetaDesign San Francisco San Francisco, California summer & fall 95		Designer worked as the principal designer on MetaDesign's section of a large Hewlett-Packard publication, involving two and four-color work, extensive project management, and working with the framework of a large corporate structure; collaborated on projects for McGraw-Hill and Ernst & Young
Dynamic Diagrams Providence, Rhode Island summer & winter 92 & summer 94		Designer worked as a consultant designer (92) and as staff (94) for Paul Kahn, Krystof Lenk, and Ronnie Peters (92) on numerous projects, including software interface design, image manipulation, and layout for the computer screen and printed matter
Yale Language Laboratory & Yale University Press New Haven, Connecticutt spring 93 to fall 93		Digital Audio Installation Consultant designed and installed a digital-audio recording and editing suite for the second revision of the French in Action foreign language teaching system (devised by Pierre Capretz) and taught an operator, David Pelizzari, to use the suite and its computing equipment
Centennial Theater Festival Simsbury, Connecticutt summer 92		Master Electrician worked as the resident Master Electrician for an Equity summer theater season, maintaining and repairing lighting & sound equipment, loading-in and striking four internal productions and four touring groups
