Very interesting. In short, the question is wether the amendment protects the right or everyone to bear arms or just of those in a well-organized militia.

Integrated with iTunes, it is a playlist creation tool; analyzes BPM. Great looking UI.

Maybe the Wii is a much bigger deal than we realize? It certainly seems to be ushering in a whole new kind of video game play, one in which people get sweaty, phyiscally tired, and just plain bounce around. Another fascinating example of the importance of

We know there will be no more movies or TV episodes, but this is intriguing. Not enough, I suspect, to actually make me play the game. But interesting and exciting in a way.

Huh. That's kind of neat.

Weirdly, it's a high-tech version of those power strips with switches people used to stash under their displays back in the day. Yes, the ones we mocked.

Two articles/posts on Dawson and religion that I'd like to hear Ev's reaction to: Richard Dawkins: You Ask The Questions and Nicholas Kristof's "Modest Proposal for a Truce on Religion," and responses by Sam Harris, Richard Dawkins, Daniel Dennett, and others. One of my favorite quotes:
"(from Ben Taylor): Einstein, Newton, Bacon, Kepler, Pascal, Boyle and Faraday all believed in God. Does it bother you that such eminent scientists might not have been 'deluded?'
And Richard Dawkin's Response: It was hard to be an atheist before The Origin of Species. Einstein is the only member of your list who was born into the post-Darwinian world, and it is no accident that he was also the only one who didn't believe in God. He declared: 'It was, of course, a lie what you read about my religious convictions, a lie which is being systematically repeated. I do not believe in a personal God and I have never denied this but have expressed it clearly.'" Ouch.
