Saw an interesting presentation on FindMeOn last night at the Geek Out Summit at the Monkey Town HQ. Interesting enough that I signed up and have a little badge down on the left there. Curious to see how it evolves.

If super-gadget-geeksEngadget can't get their Zune to work properly, who can?

(In response to Ev) Alas, Google tells me that my search - "polar explorer starving polar bear liver fatal" - did not match any documents. Though searching for more info on the topic led me to Wikipedia's interesting List of fictional diseases. | comment 0

The music industry is simply amazing sometimes. In this quote from Doug Morris (The CEO of Universal Music), by these devices he means all music players (Except Microsoft's ill-fated new player): "These devices are just repositories for stolen music, and they all know it. So it's time to get paid for it." The presumption of guilt simply amazes me. Some music industry executives, I should add, have publicly stated that copying music you own on CD to your music player is piracy.

Happened upon a designer (clothing company?) named Gori de Palma today. I really like some of the work. (I don't love Flash websites, because otherwise I could link to some of my favorites...) Click around in the catalog for "Fallen Women."
