Congrats to Celine and Eyal for their contributions to the book Did Someone Say Participate?.

Woah. All of Stuyvesant Town is for Sale. That is one heck of a blinking neon sign for continued rising rents.

I cancelled my Dwell subscription last year because the magazine had seemed to lose touch with the whole exciting idea of real places, real people, with messes, kids, and homes that felt lived in. It turned into a Better Homes & Gardens for mid-level design. . . Sounds like I was not alone in my feelings: Founding Editor Arieff Walks in Protest

Little Phil was born last night at 4:45AM; he was 7 pounds, 6 ounces. And he's hairy. Everyone is in good health.

Wonderfully odd. There is an awkward, playful, curious sexiness to this on the sounds of clothes. I can't decide which is my favorite; maybe the PVC pants.

Not sure how playable the game actually is, but The Shivah is a video game about a Rabbi in New York: "Features rabbinical conversation methods, a unique method of fighting, an original score, and three different endings!"

This page will be different by the time you check it, but highs today of 102, which they say will feel like 117. And they say at sunset it'll come down all the way down to the chilly 91 (feels like 100). Ah. . . Er? | comment 0
