iView MediaPro was bought by Microsoft today. And the latest version looks even more like Adobe's Lightbox and Apple's Aperature, with more editing and manipulation tools.

This Sawstop Table Saw looks like an amazing safety device. Amazing that it is able to stop the blade quickly enough that it barely nicks a hot dog (proxy). Wonder how the safety brake is triggered? ie. how it differentiates between wood and flesh.

I passsed my test today. Shihan even used the word excellent in reference to my test (and Chris' too). Dang. Major kudus especially, of course, to my teacher and friend Rodrigo Sensei.

Since the Finns (Topi and little Mikko) arrive this evening, this Finnish music video from the 80s seems somehow appropriate. It is squirmingly bad. Especially the dancing.

Sounds like it's an aftermarket version of theBluetooth module that ued to be BTO option on so many machines. Nice if you have one of those models and want to add interal Bluetooth. [Supports the PowerMac G4 (FW 800), some PowerMac G5, and iMac G4 (17in, 1 GHz, USB 2.0)]

Handy page on Apple's site: Specifications of all machines. You can even just enter a serial number to confirm what make/model it is.

Not a lot of MacBook padded sleeve options out there yet. Only two palatable options I see so far are Wrappers (Which has a nice embroidery option, but opens on the short end, doesn't have a zipper, and looks a little too soft/floppy for my tastes) and SF Bags (great site, lots of options, but just not my kinda styling). Oh well, guess I'm waiting for the Marware SportFolio Sleeves to be updated for the MacBooks.

Assuming it is really Suzie Leeds who made the comment, word is NYC ICY will be reopening in April -- Now she says 2006, but I'm assuming she meant to say 2007, since April 2006 was two months ago and she just made the comment a few days ago. Assuming yes, exciting news. . .

Dammit, we're sunk this year.

There is now a Google Video Player Application for the Mac. Nice.
