we saw eat the taste with two dishes last night after a series of amusing mishaps involving not-quite-right times and dates. overall the play was well worth the time, generally funny, a silly premise well played with wit. there is something distinctly odd about protest/political topics in this post-election headspace that the play does reference directly (the recurring theme of the retired/secretly-not-actually-retired attorney general, for instance), but it does leave me wondering, just a bit, how/if to engage in political thought these days.
