i stopped using vindigo a few months ago when i stopped using my palm (started using my SE T616 as a calendar for quick reference and just using my laptop for making appts and for an addressbook). so today i thought i'd see what the heck happend to the one thing i miss about the palm, and this page says they have vindigo for my mobile. nice idea, but when i go to download instructions i get the following: "1. From your phone's main menu, select mMode, 2. Select Browse Websites, 3. Then choose the Travel and Dining category, 4. Select Vindigo, and 5. Finally, enjoy." which is great except for step 4: Vindigo isn't listed in travel & dining. and mmode is so slow it's painful. and part of the value of vindigo for the palm was that you didn't need a connection to find your options or your way. too bad.
