ok, i'm officially giving up on my fotolog page. it's been a week solid now that i've been unable to upload photos. for a while it was "too busy, you're not gold so try later" and now it's giving all indications of working but simply not. oh well. i hardly knew ye. . .

Evan [ 02/18/2004 09:25]: The only way to ever feel good or patient viz Fotolog was to go try Friendster for a few fruitless minutes and then come back. It then seemed like fotolog's dialup emulation was reasonable. The invasion of the Brazilians was a great moment in liberal accomodationism I think. If some journalist ever picks up on the words BRAZIL and FOTOLOG in this post, I think it would make a great 1000 words or so, comparing real territorialism (ghettodom, gentrification, Newark-Detroit white flight) in real physical places to virtual territory issues in cyber-land. Accomodating the new majority users, Brazilians, on fotolog would be fascinating. There probably are no other examples of this though.
