yes, that's skinny, but why would /. say "Sony has a new 0.4" thick VAIO notebook" when the doohickey (scroll down) is only 0.4in (1cm) at the front edge but 0.8in (2.1cm) at the back? say i had a box that was 5x5 and 5 one edge and 1 on the other, would i really be justified in calling it "only 1 thick?" . . . that kind of marketing/hype/sloppiness bugs me.
