→ congress is looking good on a compelling spam bill. now this anti-spam approach makes sense to me (why it was illegal to use false headers on faxes but not email always perplexed me): "The Senate Commerce Committee unanimously approved a bill to make it illegal for anyone to use fraudulent or deceptive return e-mail addresses, fake e-mail headers or use false subject lines. The bill would allow marketers to send an initial unsolicited e-mail message, but require that the message contain a clear way for consumers to opt out of receiving further messages." | trackback 0

→ it would be really, really interesting to me if the keyboard/mouse use connection to carpal tunnel syndrome proves to be very poor: "'Can keyboard use then be considered an occupational risk for developing carpal tunnel syndrome? From our data it seems unlikely,' the study said. → the nokia observation camera is both a touch creepy and really, really slick. it's basically a still camera with a GSM cel phone built-in that can email (via MMS) images. that does seem to make the X10-style cheesy wireless cameras udeful in a whole new range of places. wonder what happens if you stick on in a moving location (car service/limo) and it passes through a loctaion without messaging support; does it hold the image and try again or just fail? | trackback 0
