About Macktez
Macktez was founded 30 years ago by Noah and Michael, our current CEO and COO. We're an executive-level IT consultancy based in New York City, designing and operating infrastructure for organizations that can't afford to get it wrong.
We're a small firm by design. Many of our clients and Team Members have been with us for 10, 15, or 20 years. That longevity is a direct result of how we work: with deep engagement, genuine accountability, and a consistent standard of quality across every engagement.

You're curious, self-motivated, and genuinely invested in getting better at your craft.
You have hands-on experience across Mac and Windows environments and can operate across a range of technical scenarios.
You're often the most capable person in the room, and you're looking for the rare environment where that's the baseline, not the exception.
You can analyze a complex technical problem and communicate a clear, defensible recommendation in writing or in person.
You welcome active involvement and direct feedback from senior practitioners.
Interview Process
Applications are reviewed by our Team. We're not able to respond to every submission, but we keep them on file. If you're not the right match for current openings, we may reach out when something more relevant comes up.
The process typically includes a phone screen, a technical interview over Zoom, and a short performance task. Finalists will meet with our founders and may come in for an office visit. Additional steps may be added depending on the candidate and the role.
